What Students Are Saying
The course work at ULM is rigorous, however it is very doable. Here you will be receiving a quality education where you are actually learning the material that is being taught. Life is not easy and neither is college. But nothing worth having in life is easy, and a ULM education is definitely worth having.

Advisors are always looking to help and you can also go to studyhall. There's also tutors available.

ULM may not compare to a state institution, but we do have difficult classes, also. You do have to crack a book, pay attention in class, and actually go to class. Our classes our smaller and this can actually be a plus when you are in need of a little specialized attention to understand the material. The professors don't want you to fail, you get out of it what you put in.

Various types of courses are available and mostly you can choose any course of interest you want so it is accepting most range of students for different courses. I too have chosen this college because of wide range of courses and there is the course which fits me best and its math and i'm happy with its academical studies too.

It really depends on which classes, major, or teacher you choose. I had a biology class that was really easy, but then turned around and had a lab that was difficult. It varies, but overall it will challenge you!

Study. Seriously. Many of the teachers offer extra study sessions after class to help you prepare for tests. They care about how well you do and they are there to help.
