Sale Opt Out Privacy Notice
Thank you for taking an interest in your privacy rights. If you’ve reviewed Appily’s Privacy Policy, you know you have a number of rights regarding the personal information Appily collects and shares about you. Importantly, the recently enacted California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) gives California residents the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information – as CCPA defines “sale” – and you can do that by scrolling to the bottom of this page and completing the opt-out form.
As further described in our Privacy Policy, Appily shares your information with a variety of third parties. One of the main benefits of using the Appily Sites is your ability to interact with colleges, universities, scholarship providers and other players related to the college admissions process. When you take certain actions to intentionally interact with these parties on a Appily Site, Appily generates an inquiry and passes your information along to these parties so that they can provide you more information about their academic programs and offerings. Appily has contractual relationships in place with these parties and they are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing you information about their academic programs and services. Because this type of interaction is intentional and at the core of the services Appily provides, we do not permit you to opt-out of this sharing.
On occasion, Appily may provide your personal information to advertisers and other marketing partners who are interested in marketing to your unique demographic in exchange for fees or other consideration. If you do not want us to sell your information as defined by CCPA, we encourage you to opt-out of such sales of your information by completing the form below. Also, if you are a California resident under 16 years of age, we will not sell your information as defined by CCPA unless you opt-in at the time you create a Appily account or at the time you choose to allow us to sell your information.
