What Students Are Saying
If SNHU has your program of interest available and you want a quality online education, apply for SNHU. You won't be disappointed.
Katty from Reno, NV
study, study, study. keep up with your discussions and readings. make sure you participate on the first day of the class.
Ashley from Lexington Park, MD
One of my tips is to visit your professors during their office hours and to utilize all facilities and resources once you are a college student. It is important to apply for scholarships ahead of time too. Another thing to look into is if you have work study on your award letter and to apply for positions early online.
Mallory from Gorham, NH
I would recommend you talk with a counselor (even before you apply). The counselors are really helpful in guiding you or giving you the information you are seeking. If they do not know an answer to a question, they will find the answer and let you know.
Taylor from Champaign, IL
if your looking for a good university that has mass resources, then snhu is the university for you. there is the library, tutors and the writing center. the advisors are also there to help when needed.
felicia from smithfield, pa
Take a tour of the campus. Ask alot of questions, the student quides have hands on knowledge and can answer an assortment of topics. Take notes and if you can take pictures of the campus, this will help you when making your decision on which college to choose.
Molly from Riverside, RI
If you do online classes- stay focused and driven. online classes require that you be organized and committed, but there is also less of an over your shoulder feel. Much more flexibility allowed. Rolling deadlines make it easy to get in at any time of year- don't wait because you think you have to wait until the next term. SNHU's term structure feels odd at first, but once you get used to it, you may prefer it! I wish my whole degree had been set up like this- it's so much easier to focus on just two classes at once- and you're still considered full time!!
Kaitlyn from Hillsborough, NH
I would tell prospective students first access how they themselves learn. If they are able to learn in a self motivated online setting then online classes may be a great option. If a prospective student does better in a classroom setting then that is the option they need to choose. I would tell that person to first look at their goals, second know how they learn best and third make a map of how they will achieve those goals and what setting will allow them to be successful.

SNHU is a very challenging and diverse educational institution. The classes are by no means easy, they challenge you to reach above your potential and do better than, your best. The Professors, The Advisers, The Admissions Counselors are simply AMAZING! They hear your passion and help you reach the educational needs to aspire and achieve that passion!
