What Students Are Saying
Commons might not be the best, but there's aways a lot of options to choose from. Hungry Minds is pretty good, and a Chik-fil-a is coming next semester.
Elyse from NJ
The commons dinning is great, offers varieties of food to serve everyone's need.
Mariam from Columbia, MD
Commons has a large variety of food and for the most part, their food is delicious. They even have themed nights for specific types of food in addition to the food they offer everyday and they have vegan options.
Meya from Baltimore, MD
The food here is great! I couldn't ask for better food. It's a definite upgrade from home. There is almost always an option for everybody. They do their best to provide options for vegan/vegetarian students as well. Every night there are homecooked style meals, french fries and chicken nuggets type of food, tacos, pasta, salad, hamburgers, pizza, sandwiches, soup and other unique options. They also serve great desserts every day, too.
In addition to commons, there are cafes in many of the main academic buildings for snacks in between classes or meals before or after an awkwardly timed class or for when you just don't feel like going to commons. There is also Gull's Nest which serves pretty decent food (though all unhealthy) like subs, pizza, nachos and wings. It stays open later than commons in case you couldn't make it in time. They also sell things like bags of chips, goldfish, cookies, and even tubs of Ben and Jerry's ice cream all of which you can buy with your Dining Dollars.
