Although the tuition is pretty steep, it is totally worth it. Of course it is more expensive than state schools because it is a private, Catholic university. Marquette University realizes that the tuition is pricey and they help their students afford their education. Furthermore, you are paying for the quality of the education and professors. Honestly, the experience and education provided at Marquette University is priceless.

Being completely honest Marquette is an expensive school and I do struggle to pay every semester to continue to attend but for the connections made with students and professors it is absolutely worth it. You learn so much and meet so many people you are definitely getting your bang for the buck.

Although Marquette is a very expensive school, it is worth every penny. If you work hard in high school and receive different scholarships, you can keep the cost comparable to a public college. Since it is a private school, the education overall is of the highest quality. Basically, you get what you pay for. I went to a public high school and the education at Marquette is so much better. The professors care more because you are paying their salary. Furthermore, you receive a U-Pass with your tuition and this allows you to explore many parts of Milwaukee. I have found it very useful and it has saved me quite a bit of money. Further, there are many free events to attend, such as Late Night Marquette, that gives you an opportunity to hang out with friends and do different activities like tie-dying t-shirts or carving pumpkins.

The opportunities provided make the price tag well worth it.

The tuition is STEEP! But it is very much worth it. The education you receive here will teach you leadership, professionalism, and provide you with so many opportunities as you grow as student.

Yes, Marquette is a private university and can be pretty pricey but overall I think it is worth it. If you have good grades you can get scholarships, look out for alumni scholarships and outside scholarships to help you out.

It is true that Marquette is very expensive, but you get to attend a wonderful school where everyone cares about your choices and are willing to help you through your experience, where you develop not only as a student but as a human being, and your studies really prepare you for your future. I think it is so worth it.

It's no secret that nearly all private schools are expensive. Marquette awards scholarships that help immensely. As far as getting your money's worth, you most definitely do. Technology is updated, class sizes are small, and coursework is applicable and current.
