What Students Are Saying
The academics are overall pretty difficult. I happen to have a difficult major but it really does depend on your major. I would say overall that the academic are the perfect difficulty and the teachers will help you if you reach out for assistance, it is fast paced and it takes time to get used to as a freshman.
Christine from Chicago, IL
The academic scale is tricky and you need to get a 93% or higher to get an A, but if you work hard enough and get to know your professors and study, you can definitely do it. On the other side of the diploma, you will be well respected with a good GPA.
Kara from Palatine, IL
Classes are fast-paced, but if you know your own study habits and keep up with the assignments, you will not be disappointed with your grades. Also, getting to know your professors helps a lot because they can clarify the information you may have missed during lecture.
Monika from Village Of Lakewood, IL
Marquette's classes in general are demanding. They are rigorous enough that they are challenging, but in no way are they impossible. Hard work goes a long way here!
