What Students Are Saying
I like most of the food that is offered at LIU. Quiznos is one of the most attractive food places on campus. LIU also has another dining hall called Luntey's which offers anything from grilled food to salads to starbucks.
Bassam from Suffern, NY
The food on campus is good but way to over priced, you'll be better off going across the street for lunch.
Eiriena from Staten Island, NY
The Avena Lounge always has great activities, as well as parties for the students. You should attend!
Aliciya from Worcester, MA
There are a lot of food places to choose from around the area. There are various burger joints, pizza places and the like.
Alyssa from New York City, NY
There are some things that I enjoy and there are somethings I don't enjoy. It all depends on the kind of eater you are. They tend to serve a lot of tilapia which I'm not too fond of. There's an omelet station, cold sandwich station and so much more. There's also subway and places like the Grind and Luntey where you can order wings, burgers and purchase candy.
Chinaemerem from New City, NY
There are many options like mexican, or the salad bar. The only down side is that the food is a little pricey, but even then there plenty of options near the school like chinese, yogurt, Mc. Donald's and more options. Juniors is also right across the street from the school and downtown Brooklyn is mostly know for Juniors.
The food and dining are very tasty and affordable. I am a very picky eater but when eating here I have no problems.
