What Students Are Saying

Know exactly what you're looking for. Don't settle for a school that's not what you want.
Current Student
Living on campus, especially in the traditional dorm residence halls, gives an experience like nothing else. I recommend living in a residence hall on campus, you would be surprised at the close friendships that you make. Also, as far as academics go, if you find something difficult, go talk to your professor. They are there to help; and most of them are very helpful and truly enjoy helping you out one-on-one.
Stephanie
Look for as many scholarships as you can. Prepare yourself for your major and be ready for the amount of work that you may get. It's important to have time to study. You are also required to attend 11 chapels. It's important to try and get something out of these because the messages are important to your life.
Allison from Romney, WV
The campus has a beatiful view of the river. The hillside opposite of Geneva across the river has a giant G on it that students can even hike to.
Lanie from Industry, PA
it doesn't hurt to get involved with as many leadership opportunities before college to prepare you. take your sat/acts seriously and score as highly as you can - they determine how much money you'll earn for academic scholarships for all 4 years you'll spend at geneva. take them more than once if you must, admissions takes your highest scores into consideration.
Amy
-Don't try to fit it
-Stand up for what you believe in
-Break the social norm
-Know that you don't have to conform to the patterns of this world
-Keep your mind focused of academics
-Get engaged into the Beaver Falls community
Simone from Pittsburgh, PA
Do not expect Geneva to be a party-school. Geneva students enjoy having fun, but the college is conservative overall.
Austin from Meadville, PA
