What Students Are Saying

Work on your general education requirements in the fall and your major in the spring, take any other classes that you failed/dropped/need in the summer!
David from Wichita, KS
I recommend that prospective students come to the campus and walk around and take tours of the different buildings on campus and the different housing options as well. I also recommend tasting the food offered in the dining hall before committing to the school. Also, prospective students should be sure to thoroughly examine the school to be sure this is the school they would like to attend.
Angela from Lake Ozark, MO
arrive early, it takes a while to find a parking spot. also try to enroll as soon as possible, classes fill up fast.
Haley from Goddard, KS
Tips for prospective students is to get an advisor that is within your intended major. If you don't know what you want to do, any advisor will do. But as soon as you figure out what you want to major in, change advisers accordingly. All advisers at WSU are good, but some might overlook something that is needed for your degree if they are not a professor within that major.
Kristyn from Haysville, KS
The faculty give you the feeling that they are interested in you as a person. Be sure to tour the campus. You should learn about the Living Learning Communities.
Daniel from Springfield, MO
Check out WSU, i promise you'll enjoy your experience.
Chieraqui from Wichita, KS
be ready to study from day one. the professors will challenge you to do your very best, so being prepared from the get-go is a major factor in success.
Drew from WICHITA, KS
I would encourage students to go to WSU, They are one of the best in Aerospace Engineering due to the presence of NIAR on campus. Their business school is also in the top league.
Joshua from Wichita, KS
