What Students Are Saying

Wentworth is served by Chartwells, which is an inexpensive yet high quality dining company. Chartwells serves a number of the other colleges surrounding Wentworth, including WIT's next door neighbor, MassArt. The school mandates one of three dining plans for all students living on campus, with prices curated to exactly what a student might need. Commuter students, however, do not need a dining plan but can still dine in the MassArt and Wentworth cafeterias, as Chartwells accepts Debit, Credit, and cash, just like any other eating establishment in the area. Off campus, Wentworth is surrounded by a plethora of different eateries. From the Mexcian food of Chipotle and Bolocco, to the craft pizza of Il-Mundo, to chain restaurants such as Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, to even Peet's Coffee and Tea, the small coffee shop at MassArt, there is always affordable dining around WIT, as well as higher end restaurants for those who are looking for a night out in Boston.

Beatty, the cafeteria, can be gross and boring, but you can also use your meal plan at the c-store, which is like a tiny grocery store so if you have a kitchen you don't have to go far for a meal you can cook yourself.
Allison from West Greenwich, RI
The food and dining at Wentworth is all done by Chartwells; some people love it, and some people do not love it so much. The options can be a bit repetitive, but the food is good, nonetheless. The fried food station can be tempting at the front of the cafe with the smell of burgers, chicken, steak and cheese, etc. but it is important to remember that everything is good in moderation; do not get a steak and cheese with fries everyday for lunch! For breakfast you have options like eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, standard breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, cereal, muffins, bagels, and more. For lunch and dinner there Ã?Â?are always things like burgers, chicken, steak and cheeses, grilled cheese, meatball subs, chicken wraps, salads, dozens of sandwich options, soups, usually a special, and more. The physical dining area is generously spacious. Most of the time it is easy to find an open table. And when Wentworth dining is not satisfying you, the option to go to local colleges that accept Wentworth's meal plan is an option! The most convenient college-dining alternative would be Mass Art; their food options are similar, but it is said that they are often cheaper than Wentworth!

Based on what I've eaten at the student orientation that food their is superb. Although high school cafeteria food will make anything you eat seem superb so it could just be me.
