What Students Are Saying
i'm in the honors college, so those classes are obviously challenging. but i have found some of my regular classes to be challenging as well! the good news is that most of the teachers want you to come in and ask for their help.

As far as how hard the classes are, that really depends on your major. Everyone has to do certain UCORE classes that are just general education and are much easier that higher level, major-specific courses. However, an incoming Freshman who was one of those kids in high school that didn't do their homework and passed tests with A's, I found that you can't keep that up in college, as most people will warn you about. Many classes will fail you after a certain amount of unexcused absences, and WSU takes academic integrity very seriously.

The classes require a lot of concentration for a lot of students. For me, classes required a lot of time and participation but if you actually care and are interested, it easy to get an A.
