What Students Are Saying
Visit the campus during winter break with no students there. If you just love it then, think of how great it will actually be with all the students.
Madison from Slocomb, AL
If you are considering becoming a student at UNA, there are a few things you should keep in mind: for starters, if you are commuting to school, you will always want to get to the campus at least 30 minutes before your classes start so that you will have no trouble finding a parking place. Another thing to remember, always carry an umbrella with you.
Lindsay from Lawrenceburg, TN
Come visit! And try to shadow someone in their classes. There's no better way to find if a school is right for you than to experience the campus for yourself. If you choose to come, live on campus!!! Even if you're only 30min away, living on campus is so fun, and you really get the college experience!
From Atlanta, GA
Sign up early to get the better dorms if you're a freshman. Oh, and go to the first SOAR so you're one of the first to register.
Sierra from Oxford, AL
Start out with a good attitude and get involved with organizations on campus.
There's a lot of stairs so be prepared for that.
There's good teachers and bad teachers, you'll get both but remember its only for a semester.

Be prepared to work hard and play hard... and be warned most teachers take attendance and have a rather strict attendance policy.

If you are considering UNA, you will have to go to SOAR, which is Orientation. Get to know people at SOAR, especially your counselors. They can tell you what classes to take and which teachers are best suited for you.
