Named for the famed city it resides in, the University of New Orleans is a 4-year, urban research institution on a 195-acre campus near the French Quarter in Louisiana. UNO is one of only two institutions in the state labeled a Research University by the Carnegie Foundation, and it’s also home to the only research center in the nation that focuses on hazard mitigation, the Center for Hazards Assessment, Response and Technology. Comprised of 4 colleges and 5 schools, UNO offers a wide variety of majors on campus, as well as 3 bachelor’s degrees that can be earned entirely online.

The University is here with you every step of the way throughout your career to help you achieve every goal possible, if it had to be rate on a 1-10 scale i'd give this place an 8.
