What Students Are Saying
College is not just about work. It is about discovering yourself and preparing for the future that you want for yourself whatever that might be. Your future is entirely up to you.
Julissa from New York, NY
not a party school, people go out and have fun, but you're expected to also be able to get your work done and not get in trouble
Lani from West Warren, MA
i say if your looking at this school definitely take a tour. the school loves doing them and usually its students so you get a first hand experience. also the campus is small so if you like the homey feeling away from home its great. honestly from any one building to the next it takes you 5 minutes or less to get there.
Tori from Jamaica, NY
Don't let the opinion of others ruin your perception of this school. Come check out UNH for yourself! UNH is a diverse academic school and I am certain you will fit right in.
Yesenia from Ontario, CA
definitely get involved
be welcoming to new people and friends (don't be shy)
make sure you get help in a class before it's too late to do anything about grades

Take a tour before coming here. It's really helpful to see what everything looks like before you send in your deposit. Oh, and make the most of your time while you are here. GET INVOLVED!! It will make your experience that much better.
Michelle from Islip Terrace, NY
One tip I would give to a prospective student is to take elective classes that you are interested in. UNH offers so many different and interesting classes; some of these classes could be related to your major and some not. If you take classes that are interesting to you, you will regret in and potentially waste your money.
Nicolette from Wolcott, CT
This school is like a little family. Its a small campus and everyone here knows each other. I love walking around campus and seeing so many familiar faces.Spend a day on campus so you can feel and see exactly what I'm talking about.
