Founded in 1871 as a teaching school, the University of Central Missouri is a 4-year public university with two campus locations. UCM confers bachelor’s degrees in over 150 academic programs. For students looking to spend part of their college tenure in another culture, UCM features study abroad programs in over 60 countries including New Zealand and France. Outside of the classroom, UCM fields 15 men’s and women’s athletic teams known as the Mules and Jennies.
