What Students Are Saying

Consider this school and compare it to other schools on size, expenses and personality.
Brittany from Signal Mountain, TN
Please come visit! Maybe I'll see you around! :) If a student does apply, please apply for housing at the same time, don't wait! Even if you are not sure you are going to attend it is worth the small deposit fee, to guarantee a housing spot. Make sure the application is complete and on time! Be yourself! Have fun with the college admission process.
Nashville
Study hard and don't party alot. Sororities and Fraternities can wait. Your education comes first.
Marquef from Clarksville, TN
Use the scholarship requirements as your acceptance requirements, this way not only are you more likely to be accepted, but you're more likely to get a scholarship from the university as well. But, do not base your entire decision of attending on whether or not you get a scholarship. If you love the school, and feel it is a good fit, go for it!
Kaila from Antioch, TN
Get involved! I did not want to join a sorority when I came to school but I decided to rush anyways. After I went through recruitment I was in love and having a blast. It made college a lot easier and a LOT more fun. If a fraternity or sorority is not your thing, find another involvement to get into. There is so much to offer for a smaller school.
Mary from Knoxville, TN
Act early, do your homework. Get to know the college well. If you really want to get to know the school, make an appointment to get a tour. You will not be disappointed.
Valeria from Maryville, TN
The hills here are killers, but the shuttle is free and runs all over campus.
Jasmine from Memphis, TN
Get involved! There are so many excited and fun ways to get involved at UTC.
Megan from Huntingdon, TN
I would be sure to make Chattanooga your home when you come here. Too many people see college as just 4 years, but it is where you will live for four years. Students need to get involved in school and in the community and it makes college so much better. UTC has so many different opportunities to get involved in.
Jonathan from Hendersonville, TN
GO TO CLASS! Do not let the lack of an attendance policy make you lazy! You will not pass.
Miranda from Pulaski, TN
