What tips can you share with prospective students?

Having small classes is a plus for students because your professors care more about you. But the effort they put in to helping you is equal to the amount of effort you put into their class. So work hard

How would you describe the dorm life at this school?

The dorm is the best part of this institution. Included in the cost is laundry at any hours of the day. It is extremely affordable and there is lots of space. I chose the 4 bedroom and it is very nice and clean.

How would you describe the food and dining options?

While the workers there are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, the food hall is similar to any high school cafeteria. And it is not open all day. It opens and closes throughout the day and is open for only a couple hours at a time. The also stop making food when there’s about an 1.5 hours before it closes.

In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?

The Patterson center is the building with entertainment. My friends and I like to play pool and go to the gym.

How does this institution support campus safety or mental health and wellness programs?

The University has a university police station on campus. They also have a mental health program with therapists that are included in tuition.

Am learning a lot
Being at A&M Texarkana I feel i've learned alot about myself and the world after high school. The professors I have had the pleasure to be taught by push us to do well and try to help however they can.
Am enjoying being here
Overall I love being at A&M but the business center and student affairs offices are still relatively new and so, very unorganized and confusing an be confusing if you don't talk to the right people.
Bang for the buck
I'm still in the deciding stages of this peticular question. It has however been a very interesting experience.
Tips for prospective students
Find friends that have the same class and help each other understand and get along. It's so much easier when you have a buddie.
