What Students Are Saying
Take advantage of the scholarships and financial aid that this university has to offer you. They really do a great job helping get the best possible financial aid award packages.
Francisco from El Paso, TX
My advice to anyone who decides to come here is to meet a lot of people, get connected, stay involved, ask questions if you have them and to stay organized. If you need help with any class, do not be afraid to meet with your professors during their office hours because that's what they are here for. If possible, get into study groups with other students so that you can help others and they can help you as well.
Jenny from Houston, TX
You need to make sure that this is the school for you. Talk with the professors about your major if you know it.
Tina from League City, TX
If you do intend to come to St. Mary’s, or any college for that matter, always make certain to stay on top of your finances. While you’re at it, it’s also a good idea to stay on top of your grades because academic achievement is always rewarded here on campus.
Kristen from San Antonio, TX

Prospective students, if you plan to attend St. Mary's University I suggest that you get involved as soon as you step on campus. When you get involved you meet people. Like I've mentioned before, it's the people that make it worth while. They are also the people that get you through every hardship and over every speed bump on the journey of discovery. ;) Also, take advantage of every opportunity that knocks on your door. St. Mary's offers plenty of free help, for example, mock interviews, help on resumes, community service, they have job/internship fairs, etc. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT ALL!!
