What Students Are Saying

Ouachita sets the bar high in academic success. They help you become better in studying, thinking, and concepts. If you ever have any problems, the professors are there to help you because they care about your success!
Brian from El Paso, TX
the admissions counselors are so friendly and always welcome your questions. we also have a program called grow (getting ready for ouachita's world) in which prospective students get to stay in the dorms with current students and learn about the campus and school firsthand!
Chelsea from Bentonville, AR
Definitely come prepared to work hard. Academics are not easy, but it is college and it will prepare you for later.
Jeremy- AR
Very rigorous, but worth it. The professors are very friendly and want to help you out, they want you to succeed.
Taylor from Arkansas
The core curriculum is definitely rigorous. Depending on what teacher you get it can be down-right HARD! The great thing about Ouachita is that the teachers have a heart, and will go out of their way to help you in whatever way they can. If you are struggling - do NOT hesitate to let them know!
Victoria from Sherwood, AR
My professors at OBU challenge me to be my very best and are always available for advice, instruction, and, yes, even correction. The demanding pace in my classes has encouraged me to develop good time-management skills that I am sure will be valuable for the rest of my life.
Justin from Searcy, AR
A difficult school, however manageable.
Alexander from Little Rock, AR
Very challenging , but feel prepared for what life brings me in the workforce
