With a campus overlooking Chaplin Lake, Northwestern State University of Louisiana is a 4-year public school in northwest Louisiana. NSU confers undergraduate and graduate degrees in 20 academic programs of study. In addition, NSU makes 40 degree-granting programs available entirely online. For a break from classes, NSU is home to an on-campus golf course as well as four intramural sports leagues.

It has a beautiful campus, it's fairly sized, and in a small town. They have the fourth largest nursing program in the Untied States. Another plus is that Northwestern is not very expensive.

northwestern is a wonderful campus with professors who are willing to cater to the students. although it is a smaller campus, this allows the professors to actually interact with all of the students. no one is lost in the back of a classroom.
