A School for motivated Students who want an excellent education, especially in engineering Fields. Small campus and class size leading to a closer working relationship with professors and other students. Beautiful area and nice people with plenty of employment options.
Tips for prospective students
Be prepared to work. The classes are intended to be very challenging and the teachers take that to heart. You'll have to work hard but sticking with it will help to make you one of the most marketable engineers in the country.
Academic Rigor
The work is hard and the curriculum intense but there is plenty of help available if one wants it and the professors are always more than willing to help.
Dorm Life
Have a lot of activities one can participate in. Clean, well maintained facilities with easy access to anything one might need.

Not the worlds best buffet but for the price that's payed can't complain at all. The grill food is pretty good and the kitchen staff are all good folks.

If you like the outdoors then the butte area is perfect. The hyper building (our recreations facility) has recently been renovated and it is packed with different work out equipment, tennis courts, racquetball courts, and various other rooms and equipment available.
Bang for the buck

Pretty quite campus where most of the folks are as nice as it gets. We generally don't have problems here at tech.

Teachers are great but some classes require a lot of work.
Dorm Life
I live in the dorms and its great! The rooms are bigger than some of the other ones I have seen in other collges. There is always some game or event going on in the dorms and they are always fun!
Food and Dining
Its okay food but it is offered buffet style with a menu to order off of if you dont want the buffet.New tables were put in this semester so the cafeteria looks great and the view is even better.
What to do for fun
Going outdoors is the best thing to do in the fall and late spring. It gets too cold to do anything fun in the winter besides skiing and snowboarding. Less than 2 hours away from a couple bigger cities if you get bored of butte.
