Tuition, Cost & Aid

Affordability and Cost

Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.

Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

Additional Costs
Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. For some institutions the # of students by living arrangement will be known, but dollar amounts will not be known. In this case the # of students with no corresponding dollar amount will be excluded from the denominator.

What Students Are Saying

MATC is very affordable. Most colleges have you in debt before you start. Most of the times you receive a refund from your pell grant at MATC. With other colleges they make sure you have nothing left. MATC don't get you for all you got, they try to give back, And I love that about MATC.

YES IT IS!
Robert from Milwaukee, WI
Classes are great and well worth the money that I am paying for tuition. It's affordable and having a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant will be great! I'll be able to pay off my student loan within about 1.5 to 2 years after graduation.
Emily from Hales Corners, WI
Its less exspensive and you recieve more finiancial aid which is ALWAYS a plus! Not saying blow the extra bucks you do get, of course! Lol
Antionne from Milwaukee, WI
Make sure you apply for financial aid on line.
Dawn from South Milwaukee, WI
They give you just as much information as would a four-year school; except it's about half the price. Some may dismiss it, but they do a great job teaching.
Brian
Beyond that, the gen-ed classes are much cheaper than the UW system and transfer.
