What tips can you share with prospective students?
Find a church in the area. There are lots of good ones near by. Visit a handful before settling in and ask students and professors for suggestions. Many of the profs are also pastors so if you have a godly prof that you would be glad to be you pastor, visit his church.

It challenges you to really live out and apply what you learn. The learning is for you and your character and your spiritual growth not just for its own sake.

Nice newly renovated dorms. Lots of folks form Bible studies. Also there will always be opportunities to watch movies and sports with others—especially Chiefs games!

Good food. A bit pricey seeing that when you’re in the dorms you have to buy the full meal plan. Lots of fast food within walking distance—Panda Express, Wendy’s, etc.
