Small classes so it makes it easier to learn. Professors are always willing to help.

You have to like a city area. It's a 15 minute train ride into Manhattan.

This College is expensive, however it is worth the money for what you recieve out of it. There are always things going on around campus everyday of the week

Iona is a good school for you if you like a small campus and want to be at a school where you will learn a lot for the amount of money you are paying.

If you love the city but just don't want to be in busy Manhattan all the time trying to find your way around, then this school is right for you, because it is only a short train ride into all the excitement of the city that never sleeps

There are a wide variety of classes and generally multiple sections of classes. It is easy to cater your schedule t take classes that interest you along with a teacher that best fits you. You may end up with the one class with the one teacher you don't want to have, but such is the story of every college.

I love being here. I only live 15 minutes away, but I live in the dorms and get involved in everything. In the first couple of months here I turned Iona into more than just a school, I made it my home.

Anyone can make it worth their while if you take what you put into it. If you don't put anything into it, than you probably wont take what you want. However if you do what needs to get done, you will have many opportunities to have a great time and make it your most memorable years!

Pick the school that's right for you. It's a big decision, but have fun with it!

It's good for those who want to be a big fish in a small crowd. It's a small campus, but their are many opportunities to stand out and take charge.

Iona College is a nice college. The campus is a good size and always clean. Everyone on campus is just so friendly.

Just keep your grades up and stay focused in your senior year. Also visit the college to make sure this is the school for you.

This school has very good academics. The student to faculty ratio is 15:1 so the teacher gets to know all the students in the class. The teachers are always there to help their students.

Dorms are a decent size.

On campus dining is good and the off campus dining is very good too. Food is inexpensive and there is no tax for on campus food.

There are many clubs and activities to participate in on campus. A student can either join a club, organization, or varsity sports. There is always something to do on campus.

Security is always on campus. The area around the campus is fairly safe. So a student should always feel safe on campus.

Iona has a beautiful campus, unlike any other I have seen. The school spirit and energy is contagious. The programs appear to be well defined.

Make sure you are okay with a small enviroment. Also be willing to learn and interact with other people in order to advance.

I have not yet attended a class at Iona.

Each time I had a meal it was enjoyable, not to mention the countless off campus options.

So many intramurals! A Lot of fun in town at the movies, arcades, etc...

Campus ministries has a lot of cool options.

Religiously involved, love to do volunteer work.

Too many to count. There is a club for everyone! And if there is not, the process of creating one is very convenient.

Very safe. There are security cars everywhere, and attendants at each entrance.

The teachers at this school are great. They are extremely helpful and will spend time with their students to provide help. The teachers know their material and answer the majority of the questions that students ask. The teachers do not want the students to fail so they willingly help. The classes are small, just like high school classes. So the teacher will have more time to focus on you.

This school has a great atmosphere. The teachers, faculty and students are very nice. There are many events that occur on and off campus that students can attend. Most of the events are free or cost as much as 5 dollars.

Although this school is expensive to attend, it is worth to spend the money. There are many food places on and off campus that the students can eat. There are places students can go for tutoring and the buildings are constantly being improved. The money is not going to waste on this campus. The faculty are constantly improving the quality of the campus for the students.

If you could, you should choose to dorm. Yeah, it may be expensive but it is something that all students should experience. The ability to dorm is a great way to meet many new students and create friendships. People can find other students who have the same major or have the same class and can help each other. It is definitely something to consider when choosing a college.

And also, don't be afraid to approach a teacher if you need help. You will not look like someone who is stupid because we all have that worry. We worry about what people would think when they ask for help. It is not something to worry about. Students need help all the time and approaching a teacher will greatly benefit. The teachers will help you until you get the material or direct you towards a tutor to help you aswell.

Anyone who wants to make something of themselves. This is an excellent school to go to. This is also good for students who want to be near the city, it is only a 40 minute train ride to the city! It is also a small school, so it is easy to make friends and take charge. There are activities all the time, and if you want to become someone big, that there are many opportunities to do so.

Iona college has a fantastic campus with wonderful facilities and an amazing library. The Extra curricular activities are very entertaining and rewarding. The academics are challenging and encouraging as well.

Be sure to attend as a resident, as it would be an ideal way to fully experience the college as a whole.

In the biology program, it pays to work hard in the library.

The halls are wonderfully spaced and allow for a great sense of community.

The chefs provide tasteful and healthy food options.

The game room and athletic facilities provide a great deal of entertainment.

You certainly get what you pay for in technology and cleanliness. Everything is practically new.

Many catholic programs are open to other religious memorials.

Iona College provides an excellent atmosphere! It has awesome professors and the students there are all friendly. The school is a beautiful place to be in.

I advise prospective students to understand their financial aid packages and realize that Iona College is a private and expensive school!

Iona College is more than just an educational institution. It is a close knit community. There are plenty of opportunities for students to get involved inside and outside of the classroom.

Attend on campus events.

Class sizes are small and you get to develop a relationship with the professors. As long as you attend every class, you will be sure to pass. Professors are willing to help and they want you to succeed.

Loftus Hall: Suites of 5 or 6 with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
South/Conese Halls: Suites of 7 or 10, 2 bathrooms, common area with kitchen
Rice Hall: Single rooms, communal bathroom
Walsh Hall: Triples or Quads with communal bathroom
Eastchester Apartments: Range from 2 people to 5 people, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room
Marriott: 4 or 6 people, 1 bathroom, kitchen

The meal plan is easy to understand. You are allotted a certain amount of dollars for inside and a certain amount for outside. Inside includes on campus facilities. Outside includes the restaurants in the area that participate in the meal plan. On campus food is decent. The food is a little over priced but you don't really pay attention to that until you start running low on money.

There are always a ton of events on campus including parties, variety shows, comedians, etc. The most important thing to do is to get involved in as many clubs and organizations as you can.

There are over 100 clubs to choose from. All have several events throughout the year. It's a great way to meet new people.

There are mostly local Greek organizations which are unique to Iona. There is a strong bond throughout all of Greek life. It is definitely one of the best ways to get involved and keep busy.

There are a ton of security guards on campus and in the neighborhood. They're all really friendly as well.

I love Iona. Is a very peaceful and beautiful campus. Everyone is friendly and the professors are always willing to help you.

Get involved! Always try to join clubs and also participate in soup kitchens and mission trips. It will be the best experience that you ever had.

College is college. It's nothing like High School. You have to study hard and always focus.

I can describe dorm life in one word, AWESOME!

The food at Iona is good BUT also outside campus there are some places like 5 minutes away from Iona that sell delicious food!

I like the most to do for fun is to hangout with my friends at New Roc City. New Roc is a place like 15 minutes away from Iona and you can go bowling, to the movies, to play pool, laser tag etc. That place is great! They also have my favorite restaurant there, Applebees.

Iona is very expensive but trust me it will be worth it.

Spellman and Lapenta have good food! I always go there with some friends of mine. And they have great couches if you want to take an hour nap there.

Great for students that like to have fun and take their studies seriously.

AWESOME! Iona has over 65 different types of clubs and activities! You will never be bored!

Campus safety is very good!

Iona College has great academic programs. The campus is very well kept up. The education makes students actually work really hard to attain their grades.

You definitely want to try getting involved in as much clubs and activities that you possibly can. Be outgoing. Be yourself.

I think Iona is a reach school for many. It is definitely manageable though. A lot of outside of class work and preparation is definitely needed though.

Dorm life is one of the best things about Iona. Freshmen live in suites of 5 or 6. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom and shower for each suite. Upper clansmen have the choice of living in on campus apartments of either 3,4, or 5 or they have the choice of living in suites of 7 or 10 people. Dorm life at Iona is definitely the best with not having community bathrooms.

The food is another plus. You have off campus and on campus food. Off campus is all the restaurants and delis and on campus there are a few cafeterias. You basically pay for what you get though. Guys sometimes have a hard time with this plan though.

We are very close to the city, so a lot of people go there. Also, we have New Roc right down the road which has a movie theater, arcade, bowling, rides, etc. Also we are a division I school so sports are a big hit of going to watch as well.

It is a private school so with that being said somewhat expensive. But they are good with giving academic scholarships to majority of the students. Also, with it being near the city definitely easier to get internships and jobs after graduation.

Majority of students are in clubs. It is definitely a great way to get involved and meet people.

We have a big greek life at Iona. Most people that want to really get involved join greek life.

Iona has a very safe campus. There are security cars that rotate through out the campus constantly. Also we have blue lights which anyone can hit incase there is an emergency and students can talk to security through that.
