What Students Are Saying

Be sure to look ahead on your specific degree requirements, and always know what classes you have left to take. There are some classes only offered Fall semester, and some only offered Spring. Be sure to know of these, as it could cause difficulties if some of these classes are prerequisites of other required classes. I am a biology major, and have come across this a few times.

Please, apply for HOUSING and SCHOLARSHIPS as early as possible. The earlier you apply, you have a better chance of getting into the newer dorms and also first dibs on scholarship money! Also, take your ACT as many times as possible! Don't wait until your senior year to start taking them! Start your junior year, or better yet, your sophomore year and get the best score possible! The higher your ACT, the higher amount of scholarship money you will receive!

To all prospective students, make your face known on campus with faculty and students. Join as many organizations and clubs as you possibly can. Make the best of all the wonderful things Henderson has to offer!
