We have The Max which is buffet-style and has 7 different eating areas in it.

most of the food in the dining hall is good. some of the food is not. the original dining hall has been remodeled into a huge dining hall with many different stations to choose from. there is everything from fast food to international foods to desserts. on the weekends, there is a yummy omelet bar. some delicious meals are polenta and thai green curry. the university has coffee shops and restaurants for very affordable prices-do not miss it! you can get a pizza, cappuccino, or calzone- all here on campus!!!

The food AROUND Georgia College is great. Theres plenty of restaurants right off campus that take your bobcat card and are quick. But the Max isn't the best. The more I eat there the less I want to come back. The food is repetitive and half of the time not all of the stations are open because you aren't coming in the proper hours for Lunch and Dinner time, but if you go during those times you have to wait in incredibly long lines.

Food is about average, there is always pizza, salad, sandwiches, ice cream and other treats available. The stir fry line always has good food, and the hot meals are average. Breakfast has lots of choices with eggs, bacon, bagels, and cereal.

We have a running joke about the Max, our campus' dining hall. In short, if you eat there after being away for an extended period, you will get a case of diarrhea so fierce that your ancestor's will feel. We have a term for it, but I'm pretty sure I can't include expletives in my review. The Max is still legit though. Most of it is good, but some days the options are laughable (as in you're literally laughing as you stand in line). We have a stir fry line (which also occasionally doubles as our taco stand), burger/fries station, sandwiches, pizza, a breakfast nook for when you can't shake that waffle craving, and a diner that serves Fried chicken every Wednesday.

If you don't want anything at the max, there are a ton of options downtown and in the immediate area. Not only that, but a few of them offer pretty good deals. Asian Bistro has $2 Tuesdays, Amici's and the Brick have discount Wing nights, Kai Thai has a discount night on Thursdays and Saturdays. Then of course we have the fast food staples : Mickey D's, Zaxby's, Chik-fil A, Subway. Most places will take your Bobcat card as payment if you're short on cash.

Pro-Tip: Go to Cookout. Get a Cookout Tray with a Fancy Shake. You will thank me.

There are a lot of great options for food if you're not really feeling the cafeteria, like Chick Fil A and Subway. And Downtown is within walking distance with a Barberitos right there and a couple of Asian restaurants. Eating at the Brick is a religious experience, even if the service isn't great at times.
