Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. What Students Are Saying

A small, Bible-based Christian college right outside of Philly. It is isolated away from the busyness of the city and very safe. There is a community feel that you may not get at every university.
Gabrielle from Newfield, NJ
Cairn University is good for biblical studies and their business program is pretty good if that what you are interested in. I have a lot of friends in the social work program and I heard it was awesome. The community here is getting better and the students are opening up more.
Raheem from Philadelphia, PA
Cairn University is a wonderful school that really does stay true to it's mission statement. It seeks to educate students to serve Christ in the church, society, and the world as biblically minded, well-educated, and professionally competent men and women of character. The school provides great teaching from a biblical standpoint and prepares you to take that knowledge and interact with the secular world.
Katie from Lacon, IL
A wonderful university on the East Coast.
