What Students Are Saying

there is only one cafeteria on campus, however there are 5 other on campus food options where dining points can be used, and the food in all those places is delicious. there is always ice cream, cupcakes, chili, pizza, fries, burgers, salad, sandwiches and more everyday. sometimes the cafeteria will have fried chicken, and there are always made-to-order omelets for breakfast.
Mimi from Houston, TX
Some people say they get sick from eating in the caf, but let's be honest; it doesn't matter where your thrice daily meals of fries and pizza come from, you're going to feel sick. A good rule to follow is that if you don't know what goes into it, don't eat it. The salad bar is always fresh and has great options. Also, if you don't eat gluten or meat or have some other dietary concern, there are lots of choices to make it easier to be healthy.
Grace from Nashville, TN
The food choices at Belmont are widespread, even with a meal plan. Belmont offers X number of meals per week in the cafeteria, plus "declining points" which are dollars that can be spent at Belmont's other dining facilities, such as a Starbucks, a Chick-fil-a, Sandella's Flatbread Cafe, Boar's Head, McAllister's Cafe, and other restaurants. The cafeteria food is good and there is a wide variety of meal options at peak dining hours of the day. There are breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for everyone, including vegan/vegetarian students.
Sarah from Strongsville, OH
The new Dining Hall has lots of good options from healthy to yummy ice cream for dessert.
Taylor
The dining staff at Belmont is excellent! There's Ms. Tonya who will greet you with a smile on her face and a good morning, baby all the time. They are very friendly and accommodating to all needs. The food is also delicious. They offer a wide selection in the cafeteria, and there are Bruin Bucks which can be used at places like Quiznos and Lo Mein.
