What Students Are Saying
My advice: Study early, study often, and take advatage of every study session you can! The reviews are great to go to, but don't forget to be social and have fun!
Alexis from Heber City, UT
I live in some apartments down the street from the University campus and across the street from the Spectrum and the Stadium. It is the perfect location because you are still close to the school, and also all of the sporting events are right across the street.
Jessica Trettin from Wildomar, CA
This is a great school and I would recommend it to anyone. It has such a great atmosphere and the people and professors are great. There is so much to do up here to get involved. If you do decide to attend Utah State I would live on campus your first year and just get acquainted with the area.
emily from West Bountiful, UT
One of the things that I am really glad I did is finding a job on campus. It's great because your job is right where your classes are! I have also really liked living on campus because then you are in the center of everything and have the chance to participate in a lot of evening activities.
Julie from Morgan Hill, CA
~Explore the campus! There are so many little secret places on campus, it's so much fun to explore and enjoy!
~Check out the Fraternities and Sororities! The Greek system here is filled with so many great and friendly people, it's a great way to get involved and have a home and family away from home!
~Get involved! There are so many clubs on campus, join one! It's a great way to meet friends with your interests and to have something to do!

Apply early and get all of your high school credits in order and send your AP Test scores to Utah State first. I would also look into living on campus at least for your first year, it helps you immerse yourself in the Utah State campus life and make the connections with peers and professors necessary for a good educational experience. Also get to know your professors, talk with them often! Their office hours are there for you to keep your education on track!
An Aggie from Logan, UT
Get involved. Join clubs and played intramural sports, they are definitely the best! Go out and meet lots of people but also find enough time to study, it's not like high school, you really have to study for finals. Logan is a college town and you get discounts everywhere downtown and everyone is rooting for you and the basketball and hockey games are awesome! It is definitely a fun school and I will be back for 3 more years. Also, remember to stay on top of school work. I know you want to enjoy the college experience but part of that is getting your work done first.
Mckenzie from SLC, UT
Get involved! If you're not involved, you can't possibly be getting the college experience you deserve.
Go to the games. They are one of the best things about going to USU.
Don't mess around with your education. Your teachers are there to help you, and you have plenty of resources available to you. Take advantage of that.

Apply early and apply for all scholarships you have available! It's always worth the risk.
Bring your warm coats!
Expect to make lots of new friends and have a good experience.
