A small college. You get to meet new people and learn new things. USM is a good school to start at.

If you need help with anything, everyone at this school is willing to help.

Great school and environment.

Everyone is friendly and nice.

Not everyone likes cafeteria food, but they make it bearable and plus you can eat as much as you want.

We get a free gym membership and it is right down the road so I like to work out.

We have not started any fraternities or sororities just yet.

The campus is amazing if you are looking for a small hands on school to help you further your education and even your athletic game this is the place for you. The school is very small but that works out to your own benefit with school work.

Check out the campus and look go to a game. The people here will become your family because sooner or later you will know everyone. It's awesome to go around campus and say know every ones name.

Five stars are a must for USM. There are so many different resources you can use to help your grades. Free tutoring, teachers are always willing to help, and as a freshman your first year experience teacher is also there to help and of course the people are you are also a good help.

I cant give you a dorm life report because I don't live in the dorms but anywhere you go, living in the dorms is a great place to meet people. When I do go hang with friends in the dorms almost every ones doors are open so people can flow in and out of rooms to say hello and chat.

Food and Dining I also don't eat at USM because I live close to campus but everyone loves the food and there are always good choices of food. If you don't like it there is over ten choices around campus for fast food and there is also sit down places.

USM offers movie night, bowling, sand volleyball, and many more. The campus is only fifteen minutes from Legends, but there is also a movie theater less than a minute away along with a gym and bowling. Also a lot of students play games of Sundays together because its usually every ones off day. You can also go to games all throughout the week. Support the Spires!

At the beginning of the year there was a school wide mass. Even if you're not religious its still amazing to see how much culture we have throughout our school.

USM is truly great for any type of student. As a school we are growing in majors and as people. They are redoing one of the buildings to be a Physical Theropy unit and I have no doubt that it will be anything less than somewhere like KU. Nursing is a huge thing at USM, almost all students that graduate already have a job. Music and Theater (we are a theater school) is also big at the spires nation.

USM offers many different clubs and activities. We are a theater school and very big in music so there are many choices for those. Over 93 percent of USM are athletes so there is never a night where you cant go watch a sporting event.

Leavenworth is known for Fort Leavenworth and some may think this is a unsafe place to live, but it's not. I have grown up around Leavenworth playing soccer for years in the area and nothing makes me feel more safe. USM is a perfectly safe campus because it is so small. There is always activities going on around campus at all hours of the day and night.
