University of Idaho
Founded in 1889, the University of Idaho is a 4-year public school in northwest Idaho and the oldest public institution in the state. The U of I hosts 10 colleges granting undergraduate and graduate degrees in over 300 fields of study. In addition to classroom space, the U of I’s Collegiate Gothic-style campus houses a botanical garden and arboretum. Taking advantage of the campus location, the U of I Outdoor Program plans a number of adventure trips for activities including whitewater rafting, rock climbing, and backpacking.
