If you want a school with a lot to offer, variety, and where a great education will be provided then Temple University is for you.

Apply early for everything. Sounds cliched, but this is so important when it comes to housing! Take a tour, and familiarize yourself with Philadelphia.

Participate in any and everything that Temple offers because i promise you it'll be worth it.

The best tip I could give to any student is to actually show up to class. You may not always feel like going or feel like the professor is going to day or do anything you need to hear about, but you never know and it really can be the difference b/w passing and failing sometimes.

For students who are considering Temple as a potential college, go for it! This university has one of the most diverse campuses in the nation. The diversity is shown through one's daily presence on campus. Just being there a day will show you the incredible diversity of the student body. In addition, the facilities and classrooms are sized and distanced from each other perfectly. In classrooms, there is enough room for interaction between students without being too scrunched up. In other facilities, you never have to endure a painful expedition just to reach a classroom. The walk to a classroom is only about 5 minutes at most!

Study Hard

Get better than average grades in school, visit the campus (its a big school, might be intimidating), Know what major you want so you dont have to switch later.

Do not get caught up in the hype of parties and having fun because when it's all said & done, classes are what really matter. Make sure your financial situation is stable before attendence. Unnesseccary stress because of finances can be harmful to your grades.

I would advise prospective students to look into what Temple has to offer them as an individual. There is so much to do at Temple from its student organizations and overall social climate. Also, research majors and course offerings. Don't be hasty in your judgments because you may find something that you never thought of as a major and/or minor to pursue. All in all, stay focused!

Don't go anywhere alone at night, it's just not a good thing to do, but don't be scared to go anywhere- explore with some friends! Go to the city! It's a wonderful resource, and within it are so many different things to do and learn from.
