Work hard in school, have a great perspective, get an interview and tour the school. Make sure it's where you want to go and be excited because it's an amazing school.

I highly recommend if you are applying to this University that you take honors courses and AP courses while getting decent grades because they look highly upon that. I also cannot recommend enough that you go in for an INTERVIEW! This is extremely important (in fact this and my grades is probably what got me into Suffolk) because they want to see how you are as an individual. Don't be lazy and not go, if I was able to make it (living 3 and a half hours away) you can too! And when you go to an interview don't stress out just be yourself, and they love volunteer work so stress upon that. Before you go for an interview please research the college and the major you wish to peruse. They don't stress as much as they say they do on SAT scores or ACT scores. But if you are an okay SAT taker like me I recommend you take the ACT's I found the ACT's more understanding, and I got a higher score! If you have time I also recommend that you stock up on extra curricular activities of vast assortment but don't let your grades slack either.

I would suggest making sure Suffolk has your intended major before looking into applying or committing to the school. It is important to take a tour of the university and getting to know its dynamic before making such an important decision. Apply as soon as you can, and take advantage of any scholarships or grants that are available to you. If you are planning to live on campus, make sure to let Suffolk know right after you make your decision; the university has limited housing, so you must be proactive if you would like to live in a dorm or an on campus apartment.

There are lots of programs to get involved in at Suffolk. Don't wait! Get involved right away with anything you are interested in...I waited and regret it.

I definitely recommend the Honors program for any eligible participants. It is rigorous but rewarding. The best advantage is that all Honors students get early registration for classes...you are almost always guarenteed a spot in the classes that you want, which is great because the classes are very small.

Get involved. If you want to stand out on your application, make yourself known. It is in the heart of Boston, and there is always something to do. You can catch a celtics/bruins game right up the street, or you can go to Fenway park which is a train ride away, not to mention it is in Downtown Boston, next to Boston's little Italy of North End. Just get involved, you will love it.

Suffolk is a bit of a secret but once you find it they'll welcome you with open arms. If you want a free application they will happily wave the fee for you if you go and visit and have a relatively high acceptance rate. It is expensive but, if you can get good scholarships, loans, Finical Aid, or have the money, you should be all sett to have an amazing four years.

Visit the campus and you will fall in love (since Boston is the campus!)

The best tip I was given and would like to pass on: GET INVOLVED! And work hard because Suffolk loves to award scholarships for students who deserve them.
