What Students Are Saying

This school has great programs for prospective nurses and physical therapists as well as other professions, so look into the majors and minors offered here.
Jaclyn from wolcott, CT
don't let the price tag scare you. you will get a great education. sacred heart is a small school. you will definitely have a better chance to graduate. everyone is here to help you graduate. there plenty of scholarships and financial aid.
juliette from New Britain, CT
This university is a place where each individual's thoughts and ideas are meant to be heard. The most important tip this university gives many of its students is to go in for an interview in the application process. This gives the prospective student a personal look into the University by talking to the dean or assistant dean of admissions, and it gives the admissions department an idea of who the student is as a person. By being provided with the opportunity to have a one on one conversation with an expert on the school, the decision of a possible new student is made easier because he or she can ask questions and get a feel of whether or not they want to attend. The interview is an extremely important part of becoming a student at Sacred Heart, and I would strongly advise each student applying to the university to schedule one.
Allison from Trumbull, CT
If you are able to manage the time between school work and leisure you will have a great experience. It's important to organize and not fall behind with school work because staying on top of school work will give you more time to be with friends, participate in sports, work for money or volunteer.
Connecticut
Visit SHU and walk around during the school year.
