What qualities do you have that have best prepared you for success at this institution?

Two skills that have prepared me for success at Midway are time-management and communication. Time-management because, as a college athlete, balancing classes, work, and practices is essential to success in college. Communication because the professors at Midway are friendly and willing to work around scheduled things such as competitions and interviews.

How would you describe the food and dining options?

The food has several options, and it is buffet style. There are different stations, with burgers, fries, and pizza being present at almost every meal. There is a world cuisine station if you want to try new things, and a salad/fruit bar that's there all the time as well. There is also a sandwich/wrap station, where they will make those for you right there. In addition to the dining hall options, there is also the Nest, which is like a convenience store that offers to go options such as walking tacos, hot dogs, and sandwiches.

In your experience, what is there to do for fun at this college?

There are several fun things to do at Midway. There is at least one on campus event a week, such as movie nights, plant parties, bake sales and food tasting events. There's also fun activities hosted on campus, with several tie-dye events, fests with inflatables, music, and food, multicultural events hosted by the Multicultural Student Association, and nature walks hosted by the Psych Club. There's also several fun things in Midway downtown, such as Fall Fest.

In what clubs or organiziations have you participated and how have they impacted your overall experience?

I have participated in the Student Government Association, the Psych Clubs, and the Multicultural Student Association. I also am a part of the Women's Swim Team. These have impacted my experience because I have met new people and gathered information for organizing and planning events. This has helped develop my social skills and my management skills.
