What Students Are Saying
Teachers will give you a large workload, but not to the extent that you cannot handle it. The teachers want you to learn and make themselves available should anyone need help. Students will be well rounded by the time they are finished with school.
A Transfer Student
Currently I am taking 18 credit hours, and at times it can be stressful when trying to get everything done all at once. For the most part though, professors understand you are taking other classes so it isn't usually too much of an overload. Most assignments are directly related to the course objectives, but every once in a while we have assignments that branch out from the typical stuff.

Professors are not going to go easy on you, their job is to challenge you intellectually. They are going to push you to give your best work. The professor will never give up on you, unless you show that you don't care, and you don't want to be there, then the professor will give you the F that you earned. You're not going to coast through LR, it is going to take work.
A LR Bear!
Depends on how you apply yourself.. we have small classes so it is great to get hands on and one on one with your teachers

This school is very academically challenging, but you are ready for you job when you graduate. The school has a 100% pass rate. This pass rate alone is reason why people should go there.
Chasity from Connelly Springs, NC
The academic rigor here is good. It just depends on how much you will apply yourself towards your academics.
