What Students Are Saying
Hardin-Simmons University is a warm, welcoming and family-based school that has the goal of being a family in Christ. The campus is not so big that you are overwhelmed, and not so small that you know everyone and see the same people every day. The staff is kind and willing to help you with whatever problems you may have and work to make the transition to college and then into the real world smooth.
Hannah from Dayton, TX
Hardin-Simmons is a great Christian University with many great professors and advisors who want nothing more than to see you succeed. HSU has a beautiful campus and tons of places outside that you can sit under a tree and study and it is so relaxing. Also the other students are great and are always there when you need something.

I have made many friends, not only through New Student Orientation, but through my major and extracurricular activities. The professors are helpful in every way and often times will even give you their cell phone number to contact them at any time. The classes are challenging and push you to be the best student you can be.

Hardin-Simmons is a family where as you walk to class you know almost every person you pass. Hardin-Simmons is a place of freedom to serve and speak about Jesus. Hardin-Simmons is an education enlightened by faith where the teachers care about the students on a personal level and because of this we are able to be scholars in our fields.
