Emory & Henry University
Named for Methodist Bishop John Emory and Founding Father Patrick Henry, Emory & Henry College is a liberal arts college in the southwest Virginia Highlands. Emory & Henry offers bachelor’s degrees in 37 academic fields of study as well as an honors program. All Emory & Henry academic programs are project based and students are encouraged to engage in research, creative works, and community service. For recreation, the Emory & Henry Outdoor Program provides an introduction to hiking, rock climbing, and canoeing in the surrounding Appalachian area.
