What Students Are Saying
I eat at home.
Carissa from Sacramento, CA
the cafeteria food has improved in these last few years and caters to both vegetarians and meatarians alike. gluten-free and vegan options are also available. there is always a full salad and fruit bar as well as fresh pizza. there is also a couple frozen-yogurt machines. the school also has a cafe' known as the pickle, where you can buy candy, chips, fresh burgers, smoothies, and whatever your heart (and stomach) desires. the food is pretty good there.
Kaleigh from Winston-Salem, NC
When you arrive the food seems to be above average. However, after having gone home for break you will find that the food is less than satisfactory. But there are many options of meals so you will never go hungry.
Julia from Winston-Salem, NC
Once again, the food is good but not great in terms of college dining. Since the school is so small, however, you can't expect them to have unlimited options. They do cater well to vegetarians and vegans, and the food is usually pretty healthy. Students can get Meal Exchange at the school cafe The Pickle Jar if they miss a cafeteria meal, which is pretty convenient. They often have themed nights at the cafeteria which adds some fun to otherwise predictable meals.
Chloe
great food for a school

Great Food!
Ehinomen from Winston-salem, NC
my least favorite part of the school, a truly underwhelming cafeteria and snack bar.
Alexander from Winston-Salem, NC
not a fan.
