Most of the classes are pretty challenging and require a lot of reading and writing. But there are some (math-based) ones that are easier.

More than 90% of the students are out-of-state and dorm in apartment building that are scattered throughout the city, separate from the college campus. No co-ed options.
The negative side is that you still have to pay for transportation to go to the campus every day and the dorms are expensive. Many students rent an apartment with their friends because it comes out cheaper that way.

I think they offer a meal plan now but I personally just buy my own food from nearby cafes/restaurants/standbars. I do like that there's access to the 3rd floor cafeteria plus they have their own small cafeteria on the 5th floor which has a microwave, a fridge, and a sink (water fountains are also available).

Overall a good college experience for the tuition amount. Most of the classes are small and therefore allow you to participate and learn more fully. The education gives you a Christian outlook on the subjects. The curriculum is challenging and not something you can just breeze through. Summer classes are offered. The setting is very business-like and helps prepare you for the business world. The community is very tight-knit.

~ Highly motivated students who want to succeed. Since this college is small, most of the students here are those who want to be here and know what they want to do in life. Very few are apathetic and laidback.
~It would help if you're Christian, but it's a requirement. There are students who are neutral so to speak and don't go to church.
~Great for those who want to be challenged

There are a few notable student organized clubs such as the Mock Trial and the school newspaper. There are also sports clubs.
Although you're free to create a club if you want, not many people do so there's only a small number of them.

There's no traditional Greek life per say but instead there's a House System. It basically splits students into 10 different groups, houses, named after important historical figures. Six of the houses are all-women and the other four are all-men. It's a neat way to feel more connected. There are a bunch of events with house competitions and stuff like that.

As safe as a college could possibly be.

A+! The King's College is a fantastic school that really has you broaden your horizons as you face the city life as well as the school's obstacles. It helps you mature and really brings out who you really are and what sort of things you might be interested in.

Come in with a positive attitude, but don't be disappointed if things don't go the way you want them to. Most people don't realize just how different College is to High school until they finally get there and let me reiterate, college is VERY different to High School in the fact that the pace is much faster. And at times it can be a little overwhelming. However, do not fear! Because everyone goes through this time of adjustment and is more than willing to help you so that you don't feel alone. Always ask for help if you need it. That's my tip.

The learning experience here so far from what I've experienced, is very good. The teachers have their own unique way in teaching which is very helpful, and they are always asking their students to ask questions incase they don't understand something. We are the 44th best college in Liberal Arts in the country, so if you still have some doubt there's proof for you right there that the students at King's College are indeed getting a good education. Our business program is top notch and is located in the middle of a where it all happens. Wall Street.

Who needs a dorm when you have great apartments in the heart of it all. It come furnished with the basics to make you feel at home. And all have perks to them from their location to activities that are held in the buildings. Also because you are separated into houses you have a built in support system built in your apartment. Normally you fellow house members will be in the same buildings.

Your on your own for this one. The school supply's you with a great apartment with a stocked kitchen of pots and pans. But you will have to learn to cook. But no worries the school always is having events with free lunches, so u will survive well you learn to make Mac and cheese.

There are plenty of fun things to do in the city. Most of the time when we're not busy studying, my friends and I will go out and explore the city. Go see a movie, maybe watch a comedy act, visit little Italy and china town, or see a free concert, The possibilities are endless and we always have a blast after an eventful afternoon of just walking around the city.

There is nothing like NYC and it really does have so much to offer. The nice thing about KIngs is they make so many things available to you, and will help you reach your goal. Its really cool when the president of the school is willing to sit down and talk to you one on one to find out what you might need to have a successful year.

One of the most unusual traditions is the Great Race. All the different houses compete by racing around the city to locate something or retrieve an item. Then we all race back to the starting line. This takes hours and in the end it's Kings way of teaching you to get around the city. You earn points for your house and find new friends fast.

If you are a mature students that wants to learn to be an achiever and take on real life experiences this will be the school for you.

We have a range of different clubs from game board club,acting club, martial arts, to swing dancing. There is a full range on the school web.The nice thing is if you don't see what you like to do, the school will help you form a club. The school added two new varsity sports that I happen to be part of. For all you women golfers come and join me. It's a great time to be on a college golf team. Also there is track, basketball, softball, baseball, and many more.

We don't have Greek but houses like the old English school. It's a lot of fun competing against the other houses. You really do bond together as one.

Campus security is really good. You're a call away for help and the school and apartments are in the safest areas of the city. There is always someone making sure you are ok. I love my big sister looking over me and guiding me.

All of the classes are challenging but doable. The professors are easily accessible and extremely helpful.

The apartments are nice a spacious. The tough part is not necessarily having other girls on the same floor as you.

No cafeteria means no bad food but no free food either. You have to purchase all food.

It's New York City, the possibilities are endless!
