Founded in 1892, Southern Adventist University is an evangelical Christian college in south Tennessee affiliated with the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The first Adventist school in the south, Southern confers undergraduate degrees in 64 majors. As a Christian institution, Southern observes vespers, adoration, and renewal services each week and services are streamed via the university website. Additionally, students participate in peer-led Bible studies clusters called LifeGroups.
