What Students Are Saying
I work hard but I'm not killing myself. I still have time to hang out with friends, stay up late, sleep in, and go to San Francisco now and then. There's so much to do no campus and nearby that you can't get bored. And the library is incredible. Lots of places to study outside of your suite too.
J from Glendale, CA
I gave it five stars because I heard the classes are great, of course you have your occasional stressful final papers, but I heard classes aren't super stressful or rigorous.
Maribel from Sonoma, CA
I've had a mix of both very easy professors and more strict professors so I would say that the amount of academic rigor varies. If you are taking a 1-3 unit class, you can expect the rigor to be less demanding, but if you take classes worth more units expect to put in more work.

Classes can be hard depending on the subject just like any school, but there are so many opportunities to get help when you need it such as talking to your professors or going to the tutoring center.
Zoey from San Francisco, CA
Of the professors I have encountered, they all expect you to learn. Professors expect a lot and are eager to push you academically.
Andrea from Folsom, CA
Because class sizes are rather small, most classes require both attendance and participation. This forces students to become attentive both inside and outside the classroom.
