What Students Are Saying
Not a bad school for someone wanting a cheap yet quality education. I was always told not to base a college on it's campus but Northwest really does have a beautiful campus - trees and squirrels galore, bell tower, majestic-looking Administration building. The town of Maryville is not exactly a metropolis - it's got a Wal-Mart and a McDonald's but you've about a half hour drive to anywhere worth going to.
Chris from Maryville, MO
Northwest Missouri state university is a very helpful school. The staff on campus are very friendly. The teachers are also very helpful and flexibly with your studies.
Timia from Matteson, IL
northwest is definately my home away from home. when you're a bearcat, all of the other bearcats become your family. i couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
brittany from emden, mo
It is a beautiful campus with lots of nature. The professors care about the student's success. The school seems to try hard to make sure student's are able to pay their way through school and graduate.
Accalia from Peculiar, MO
Northwest is a small town with people that are very nice and considerate. The classes are small and the campus is a great size with only 10 minutes to walk from one side of the campus to the other in all directions.
