Massachusetts Maritime Academy is a 4-year college offering maritime-related degrees. MMA students are required to wear regimental-style uniforms in accordance with the Regiment of Cadets. The Academy operates the TS Kennedy, on which students fulfill their mandatory Sea Term(s). The 52 day voyages include class and laboratory training, deck and engine watches, and maintenance and emergency drills while crossing the Caribbean or Mediterranean Sea. On land, the Mass Maritime campus promotes sustainable initiatives, including wind turbines and solar power screens.

massachusetts maritime academy is one of only a few maritime academies in the united states, and is a fully accredited, and fully respected academy known worldwide. i would personally rate this school as high as possible, being able to compete with job opportunities that only ivy league schools are known to offer. this school would without a doubt be rated at a ten.
