Affiliated with the Winnebago tribe of Nebraska, Little Priest Tribal College is a 2-year tribal community college in northeast Nebraska. Named for a prominent Winnebago chief, Little Priest offers degrees and certificates in seven academic fields. As an institution dedicated to educating students on Winnebago language and culture, LPTC includes majors in Native American Studies and Indigenous Science. The college also provides training for future Native American educators by hosting the ROOTS program in conjunction with the University of Nebraska.
