Room and Board The weighted average for room and board and other expenses is generated as follows:
  • (amount for on-campus room, board and other expenses * # of students living on-campus.
  • + amount for off-campus (with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus with family
  • + amount for off-campus (not with family) room, board and other expenses * # of students living off-campus not with family)
divided by the total # of students. Students whose living arrangements are unknown are excluded from the calculation. What Students Are Saying

It is a school where you will find plenty of friends quickly because of the vast majority of students. This is even easier for people that grew up in the area because you will see others that you know. All of the people that I know who have attended IUSB have said it was a great experience and education.
Muris from Mishawaka, IN
Very nice location and the professors are all very nice and willing to help.

Contact with the professors is very efficient and they answer very quickly.

Other students are extremely friendly and it's super easy to join groups.
Humberto from Goshen, IN
It is a safe, clean, and rather nice campus with plenty of spots to study or hang out with friends. Almost all of my professors are helpful and great teachers, and the friends I've made so far are some of the best I've ever had. It's certainly not perfect, but I'm proud to be a Titan!
Kristin from South Bend, IN
Indiana University-South Bend's Ernestine M. Raclin School of the Arts is way underestimated. The professors are very qualified to teach their area of expertise and very easy to learn from. I went in thinking I would want to transfer after my first year, but I will be finishing my degree at IU South Bend, and wouldn't trade my experience here for anything.
Jordyn from Elkhart, IN
Reasonably priced and decent education for community college. Don't have great advisers for scheduling classes and planning your future. Great professors for the most part.
