What Students Are Saying
George Mason challenges its students without killing them. Students feel motivated to work hard and expand their knowledge because they know that 4.0's don't come easy, however if you work for it, it is attainable.
Jennifer from Columbia, MD
General education courses are some of the easier classes you will take, but once you get into your major the classes start to present more of a challenge. Though the classes are challenging the teachers are always there to support you in any way that they can. Aside from the teachers, there are tutoring services available for all students. Here at Mason the classes are tough but you are receiving support from every direction.
Tomesha from Highland Springs, VA
Depending on what courses you take and who your professor is, some academics here at Mason may be harder than others. Having said this, many courses are tough for a reason. If they are hard but you put your best effort into them you can still pass and do well. This ultimately helps you in the long run because you will actually understand the material rather than just knowing the basics to pass an easy class.
