Affordability and Cost
Average Net Price Average net price for full-time, first-time degree/certificate-seeking undergraduates paying the in-state or in-district tuition rate who were awarded grant or scholarship aid from federal, state or local governments, or the institution. Other sources of grant aid are excluded. Aid awarded anytime during the full aid year is included.
Average net price is generated by subtracting the average amount of federal, state or local government, or institutional grant and scholarship aid from the total cost of attendance. Total cost of attendance is the sum of published tuition and required fees (lower of in-district or in-state), books and supplies and the weighted average room and board and other expenses.

What Students Are Saying
I don't think you will find another school that can give you the quality per dollar , this school is offering.
Tyler from Minneola, FL
Offered the inaugural scholarship, I'm paying practically nothing to go to school here. The school has the hitches you might expect of a university just starting, but we're working toward making this a better school.
Isabel from Cooper City, FL
Being a state university keeps this option very low budget. Which for me was important. I always wanted to go to a smaller college and most state colleges have 50,000 students but at Florida Poly they are putting a cap at 5,000 student which keeps class sizes small. So you are getting the experience of being at a smaller private college at the price of a state university.
Makala from Polk City, FL
Can't say much; they are still at the beginning of their reign.
Brittany from Auburndale, FL
Besides being a state school, I'm getting a scholarship for $7000/year. If you keep up decent grades, you're sure to get a great scholarship heading your way, along with if you qualify for Bright Futures here in Florida.
Veronica from Land o Lakes, FL
Florida Poly has some expensive food, but it is very delicious and most of it is actually healthy. However, if one wishes to save money instead of paying for food at Florida Poly everyday, he or she should bring food from home or buy groceries from a Publix nearby and make his or her own food to take to school.
Nigel from Lakeland, FL
Dorms are expensive but very much worth it for what you're getting. Although the food is very good it is a little pricey.
Guest from Poly City
They give nice sized scholarships as well as being within budget.
