What Students Are Saying

When you get there you'll find you have a heck of a lot of freedom, teachers won't care if you show up to class but they sure as heck won't care if you fall behind because of fooling around either. If you're not serious in what you're doing (and I'm not talking about the occasional mental health day) then you'll fall behind quick and it's hard to come back up. Don't make too many mistakes and you'll make it just fine.
Amber from Warren, RI
champlain college faculty and staff will work to ensure that you receive the best education possible. small class sizes help students to stand out so that they are not just a face in a lecture hall. integrated learning, career services and opportunities such as annual job and internship fairs allow students to experience the real world early on. take advantage of what the school has to offer and you will be pleasantly surprised!
Olivia from Burlington, NY
Always work hard. Become close with your professors. Be prepared to do your part in the community.
Melissa from South Chesterfield, VA
Attending Champlain costs A LOT of money. This may be ca problem for many people. If it wasn't for my expectation of scholarships (from several different sources), Champlain probably would not be on my radar because of this.
Jacob from Wood River, IL
Some tips for prospective students are; if you are self-disciplined and enjoy online education the instructors provide quality learning and challenging class opportunities. Champlain requires an on-site internship during the middle of the degree program. They also offer a graduate certificate in Health-care Quality Improvement.
Pamela from Dallas, GA
Relax, and prepare for an awesome first year where you are going to meet a bunch of friends and teachers. Be sure to keep an open mind.

Take a tour of the school and talk with the staff and have your questions answered.
Tiphanie from Mansfield, MA
Visit the campus before making a decision. The dorms are Victorian era mansions and may not be for everyone. Really do your research and apply early, some programs require a portfolio submission to get in. Apply with plenty of time to complete that. Be aware of deadlines.
