The University of Illinois at Chicago is a public research university located in the Windy City. UIC’s 15 colleges and schools offer 87 bachelor’s degrees, 53 certificates, and more than 150 graduate degrees, as well as multiple research opportunities for undergraduates and study abroad programs available in six continents. Routinely ranked as one of the more diverse colleges in the nation, the most diverse in the UIC system, UIC at Chicago has multiple Centers for Cultural Understanding and Social Change. The Chicago campus has on- and off-campus housing near the main academic buildings that are also close to many popular neighborhoods including Greektown, West Loop, Pilsen, and Chinatown.

uic is a great choice for students who are in the chicago area. there are many opportunities for all majors be it business, medicine, or engineering. the growth uic has shown in the last few years is promising, and sooner or later will be a flagship school in illinois.

The University of Illinois at Chicago is a very populated university, mainly consisting of commuters from Chicago and it's surrounding cities and suburbs. Resources here are plentiful and there is always something for everyone. All in all, college is what you make it, and this goes for UIC as well.
